I would like to wish you all the best in your fight against this collective madness. Unfortunately teaching commitments mean that I cannot be with you except in spirit.

Best wishes

No wind in France

21.09.2008

Dear people against wind power,

I wish to add my objection to the expansion wind farm in France. The beauty of the countryside should not be sold to private companies who will be the only people to benefit.
France has a secure low carbon electricity supply already.

4th October

23.09.2008

This is all part of a plan by the EU and the USA to start new industries as so much has been lost to the Far East. The fact that Wind Turbines only work occasionally and don't reduce our coal consumption is made even more ridiculous by the fact that French electricity is almost all generated by non-CO2 producing systems anyway.

Keep up the fight -- we don't want to see the wonderful French scenery ruined either!

Windfarm madness

25.09.2008

Cheres Amis,

Best wishes for your fight against the windfarm madness that is sweeping both our countries. Our group on the Isle of Wight (a small island off the south coast of England) successfully stopped (in 2005) a massive windfarm being erected on the Island but we are now threatened again by another application from another firm with even taller turbines on the highest point of our Island in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We shall fight on as you are doing to stop the ruination of the wonderful lanscapes of both our countries.

Best wishes for your march on 4th October.

Support

26.09.2008

This is just to add my support for your demonstration on the 4th October. I wish you bon chance and hope you have a wonderful day and that the French Government actually listen to you!

In fact, it would be good if all governments listened to the common sense of the people instead of to the empty promises of the wind turbine manufacturers, developers and investors!

With my very best wishes,
Miriam Crouch,
